Opuntia: Film screening and Artist talk with Writer/Director David Fenster
TAOS: Harwood Museum of Art:

Present at the screening will be David Fenster, Writer/Director/Cinematographer. David’s films have screened at festivals and museums including: The Sundance Film Festival; The Museum of Modern Art; The Pérez Art Museum Miami; Machine Project; and The Hammer Museum. He was the artist in residence at the Chinati foundation and the Wurlitzer foundation.

Admission is $10/general admission and free to Museum members.

Homeschool Art

Homeschool families are invited to a special art program exploring the Harwood's diverse collection and creating art in the Museum's inspiring Fern Hogue Mitchell Education Center. Four sessions are scheduled from 10-11:30am during the 2018-19 school year that correspond with our Art in the Schools curriculum. This program is designed for kids 4 - 12, all ages welcome. Parent participation required.

Art Educator, Kathleen Burg will use art and social interaction as an immersion tool to stimulate minds and memories, some of whose personal stories and history may include the Taos community of artists from our collection.
