Act One Gallery - Peggy McGivern's annual exhibition entitled 'Beloved Taos' will focus on the people of Taos in their daily activities and the diverse scenery from mountains to valley views. Her new works flow from a flamenco dancer to ranchers to the wonders of the Pow Wow as she captures the rhythm and colorful history of the cultures in her magnificent oils. Please join us for the opening reception at Act I Gallery, 218 Paseo del Pueblo Norte, Taos, on Saturday, May 25, from 4-6:00 PM and at www.ActOneGallery.com. Show continues through July 31st. DAFA hereby proclaims this May as William Davis Month! With a career spanning five decades and touching upon the celebrity for which Taos is also famous, Davis is more recently known for his experimental use of film combined with digital art technology. With new works arriving regularly, Bill can found most days at the gallery working on new creations. Before this year's series of exhibitions begins in July, the walls are shining with Bill's works. |

Furniture, Function and Form~A major show featuring the works of Steven Gootgeld, Martin Kremer, David Mapes and Peter Wright is a highlight of the 2013 Summer Exhibition schedule at David Anthony Fine Art, in Taos, NM. Through the media of wood, glass and ceramic, the inspiration of this series is focused upon unique and daring execution. July 19 through August 25. A reception will be held at the gallery July 19, from 5 to 7pm.

The Beatles are coming to Taos~In a landmark exhibition for Taos and the state of New Mexico, a series of rare photographs taken by Mike Mitchell during the Beatles' inaugural United States stage concert will be the centerpiece of the Annual DAFA Photography Invitational during the month of August. Ten other magnificent photographers are included. The show runs September 02 through September 30. Reception at the gallery September 02, from 5 to 7pm.
